Stray Dog is a film poem directed and shot on 50D 16mm
by Mathias Ponard.
“Through this “film poem”, I wanted to share the feeling I had when traveling to the American West. The impression of being at the end of the map, surrounded by immensity and horizon. In this landscape, I saw the many stray dogs as the guardians of this place. Capturing these places on film seemed to me to be an obvious choice, and above all a way of revealing the singularity of the landscape. “
I worked on the entire soundtrack (Music / Sound Design / Mix).
It was really inspiring to work on it !
The film was also published on the instagram page of “Kodak Motion Picture Film”.
