Mimosa is a short film directed by Pierre Boissel and Mathias Ponard, the film was shot in 16 mm. Here is the synopsis :
“In the center of France, five friends cross a
desert landscape aboard their red pick-up. It's the
last trip they will spend together. Between worry
and acceptance, they seek the place where their journey ends
will finish”.
I composed the soundtrack of the film including sound design and mix.
Here the challenge was to express the excitement of the trip, and the fatality that awaits the protagonists.
The screening of the film took place during an opening at the 3537
(35-37 rue des Francs-Bourgeois 75004 Paris).
